However, I managed to overcome these adversities, and now I'm here to guide you through your own obstacles. Change can be difficult, but it's vital for personal development. My Story My Journey
Nicole Rice, a transformational and visionary leader, founded Sista 2 Sister, Inc. in 2019, a non-profit 501c3 organization that aims to provide equal opportunities for women of color in who have been marginalized and displaced. The organization's mission is to empower young women and girls living in poverty to overcome their circumstances through evidence-based skills training. Nicole's personal journey, which includes facing homelessness, a lack of resources, and a lack of education, adds depth to the organization's mission. Her experiences as a victim of trauma and life circumstances fueled her determination to create positive change. Nicole's decision to return to college allowed her dream of Sista 2 Sister to become a reality—a resource center specifically designed for women of color.
The program emerged as a response to the disjointed access and lack of support experienced by these women. Nicole Rice assembled a dedicated team of community leaders who shared her vision of providing equal opportunities for those who have been marginalized and disenfranchised. The program is designed to serve the underserved community, offering evidence-based skills training to young women aged 15 years and older residing in marginalized, unserved communities.
Through programs that foster leadership, teamwork, and confidence, the organization aims to empower young women and girls living in poverty, helping them overcome their circumstances. Nicole's journey expanded beyond the organization; she went back to college received her AAS, BS, and MSW in social work became a Business owner, Arthur, Consultant, and Life Coach for other women, providing encouragement and support.
Nicole now shares her wisdom through talks across the country, engaging with individuals in schools, businesses, and colleges. Her mission remains unwavering: to empower women to overcome adversity, no matter the challenges they face. Together, the team at Sista 2 Sister, Inc. is committed to nurturing growth, learning, and the realization of dreams for these resilient teens and women! 🌟🤝
